| The
hidden minorities in Southwest China had created gorgeous cultures through
which they(women) told us their interesting historic legends by embroidery
and textiles with simple needles and threads from a long time ago and passed
down till now. With the development of transportation and economy, many
of the young go to school to study, or most of them go to work at factories
at large cities, thus few of them have time or interests to learn these
amazing and fabulous traditional handmade skills, many of them prefer to
purchase machine-made textiles and fabrics for the convenience and saving
time & labor resource. Unfortunately when the old generation passed
away, this brilliant culture is also going to die soon. |
